Aluminum-silicon master alloy-AlSi20
Performance and use:
Aluminum-silicon alloy AlSi20 is a type of alloy composed primarily of aluminum and silicon. This product is an aluminum-silicon master alloy with a silicon content of 18.0-22.0%. It is used for the addition of silicon in aluminum alloy smelting. The addition temperature is low and the composition control is accurate.
How to use:
1. Bake and dry before use.
2. Adding temperature: above 700℃.
3. The dosage of this product is determined by calculation and experiment according to the actual situation.
4. Adding method: Remove the scum, lightly pour this product into various parts of the molten aluminum, stir evenly after melting, take samples for analysis, and pour after the composition is qualified. When adding a large amount, it can be added and melted together with aluminum ingots.
